PREMIUM 8040 ULP Membrane 8” (inch)
The ULP-8040HF model boasts an active membrane area of 440 ft² (40.9 m²) and a concentrate channel spacer of 28 mil. Under standard test conditions (1500 mg/L NaCl concentration, 25°C temperature, pH 7.5-8, 150 psi (1.03 MPa) operating pressure, and 15% recovery rate), this membrane can deliver a permeate flow of 12,500 GPD (47.3 m³/d), with a stable rejection rate of 99.50% and a minimum rejection rate of 99.40%. However, it is important to note that the permeate flow of a single membrane element may vary within ±15%.
This membrane operates within specific limits and conditions to ensure optimal performance and durability. The maximum working pressure is 600 psi (4.14 MPa), and the maximum feed water temperature is 45°C. The feed water's maximum silt density index (SDI15) should not exceed 5.0, and the maximum feed water flow is 17 m³/h. The feed water's free chlorine concentration should be limited to 0.1 mg/L.
During continuous operation, the pH range of the feed water must be maintained between 3 and 10. For chemical cleaning procedures, the pH range can be extended from 1 to 13. Lastly, the maximum pressure drop of a single membrane element should not surpass 15 psi (0.1 MPa).
